02 Brand Story
The inspiration for the BONDERY came from The Parchment Scroll. The protagonist of The Parchment Scroll, Hefi, lives a poor and humble life by driving camels for his master, and then falls in love with the daughter of a rich merchant, prompting him to desperately want to change his situation and aspire to become a great businessman and a successful salesman.
In order to verify his potential, his master sent him to a town called Bethlehem to sell a robe, because out of a moment of compassion he gave it to a newborn baby in need of warmth in a cave near the inn, and his sincerity and passion impressed the master, who gave him 10 parchment scrolls and told him: "Each parchment scroll records a principle, a law or a truth of business".
With a parchment scroll and a capital sum given to him by his master, Hafei left the herd and travelled to a faraway land, formally starting his sales career to earn a living independently.
Some years later, Hafei became a rich merchant and married the girl he loved. His successes grew and soon a vast commercial empire rose in the Arabian Peninsula ......
Inspired by "The Parchment Scroll" and COBOL's long-term strategic planning, the "BONDERY" brand was born based on the concept of "Doing our best to help our clients who have beliefs and passions to achieve success, and to maximise the value of ourselves and both parties".
